Assignment 2

That is a great listening experience after listen to Prof. David Cryatal's recording. The title of the lesson is Make my day!. It is talk by Professor David Crystal and the talk is about the way the English Language change. This particular talk is about language that has come from films. Film is one of the medium that has the most effect to influence language. It is also tell us that sounds and grammaticals instruction from the films not give the most effect to audiens but they more pick up the catchpharases that will be used in that films. That is the reason why there are so much catchphrases that have been extracted from the film medium become as a language. Besides, this lesson not very difficult to understand because it is a short talk. There are some new words that I was learned from this listening such as catchpharases and thug. This can help me to improve and enhance my vocabulary knowledge. Otherwise, I think this listening is very useful to me become better in Listening Skills and boost my English Language. It is a first time I listen to Prof. David Crystal's recording and it is a new experiece in learning English.
