Self-Assessment Essay

This semester i take Foundation English class. In that class we have activities such as reading, writing, listening, speaking, vacobulary, making presentations and participating discussions. In reading activities i need to read Penguin Book. The Penguin book is really helping me in improve my English. This is because the book using a really simple English and make it easy for me to understand the storyline. Then in writing activities, i need to send an e-mail to my lecturer about A Romantic Meeting. In listening activities, i need to fill in the blanks the song that was sing by Westlife and the tiltle is Flying Without Wing. In speaking activities, we need talk with each others about family, introduction to my self.

In vocabulary activities i need to understanding what i read. One of the ways to improve my vocabulary is by using context clues. Using context clues is actually guessing the meaning of a word from other words, phrases or sentences that come afher or before the word. During the making presentations activities i need to present something in just three minutes. So i choose to present How To Make Kuih Bahulu. In participating discussions, i need to discuss in a small group about project paper. In all these activities, the most i like is listening because i just need to listen to a song that was sing by Westlife. And the activities that i don't like is speaking. This is because i am not have confident when want to speak in front of peoples.
